Katharine (Kate) Chu

Kate has 15+ years of experience as principal consultant for one of the largest consulting firms, advising Fortune 100 media, tech, and wireless companies. She graduated with dual undergraduate degrees in Material Science and Economics and Comparative Media Studies, and a Master's degree in Technology and Policy from MIT. Her experience working in the MIT admissions office and her background in engineering, economics, policy, and the arts has given her a unique approach in helping others explore career paths and guiding students through the admissions process. She has 15+ years of experience working as an independent college consultant, and is fluent in Mandarin.

Dr. Elan Gada

Elan is a practicing community medicine doctor and an executive at a large medical insurer. He completed his undergraduate premedical education, along with concentrations in Latin American Studies and African American Studies at Columbia University. After graduating from Columbia, he was awarded the prestigious David Geffen Medical Scholarship, which provided full financial support at UCLA Medical School. Most recently, he completed a Masters of Science in Health Analytics from Northwestern University. He enjoys helping students interested in science explore the future of possibilities and excels at the art of essay writing. He is fluent in Spanish.
